This group of young people from Casa Grande Union High School held its second annual Halloween Party for children in the Against Abuse shelter.  From planning the party to making the refreshments, these students did it all to the delight of the children.

For the 3rd year, this enterprising group of young people held a free document shredding event sponsored by American Fidelity Credit Union.  They amassed 4 tons of shredded material and 1400 lbs of recyclable cardboard.  This event was started to help prevent ID theft.

Beginning in 2009, Yang and Horsley Dentistry began a "Spark-A-Smile" program.  The program involves local residents and groups making greeting cards of all sorts for distribution to hospitals, hospice, schools, etc.  It is meant to bring a smile to those who need one.  This program is year around and brings joy to many.

Members of the Casa Grande Civil Air Patrol Composite Squadron 316 set out early Saturday morning to clean up a burned up shed on property in Casa Grande. The young men and women of the squadron worked in tandem and filled a large roll out to capacity before leaving. The home owner was very glad to have the help.
