Residential Fluorescent Bulb Drop Off Location

Monday through Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.   

Residents may drop off fluorescent light bulbs and other mercury containing bulbs such as CFLs and HIDs at the Casa Grande landfill for recycling.  The bulbs will be crushed and stored for later recovery of the mercury by a recycling facility.  Recovered mercury is used in the manufacture of new products and not allowed to be released into the environment.               

Please bring a copy of your current utility bill and a valid driver’s license for proof of residency. Broken Bulbs will not be accepted at the landfill. For information on how to dispose of broken fluorescent bulbs please visit www.EPA.gov/cfl/cflcleanup.html
