Library News Summer Reading Prizes
Summer reading is coming to an end, but it is now time to pick up your prizes for all your hard work this summer! You have until this Friday, July 30th to come to the Main Library or Vista Grande Library to turn in your reading logs and pick up your prizes. Genealogy
Are you building a family tree, but struggling to find birth certificates? Have you been curious about genealogy, but are unsure how to start? Come to our Genealogy class and learn about the resources the library has for you. Class will be held on Tuesday, July 27th from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m.
VISTA GRANDE PUBLIC LIBRARY:
Vista Grande Lapsit Storytime
Please join a librarian for 20 minutes of stories, songs, rhymes, and fingerplays. This program is generally suitable for ages 6 mo. - 2. This storytime will be held Thursday, July 29th at 10:30 a.m.
Craft
Kids aged 4-12 are welcome to join us for a water-themed craft at Vista Grande library on Friday, July 30th. You and your parents can drop in between 10:00 and 10:30 for some crafting fun. Registration is not necessary, but supplies are limited to the first 24 crafters that join us.
Hawaiian Party
As the Summer Reading Program winds down, we'd love to have kids age 4-17 celebrate with us at a Hawaiian-themed party at Vista Grande Library from 2:00 - 4:00 on Friday, July 30th. We'll have pizza, a movie, and some crafts. So, put on your Hawaiian shirts, board shorts, and flip flops and be there! Aloha!
Vista Grande Family Storytime
Children of all ages are welcome to join a librarian for approximately a half hour of stories and a simple craft. This will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 31st.
