PUBLIC NOTICE The City of Casa Grande will conduct a public hearing on: Date: July 2, 2012 Time: 7:00 PM Place: Council Chambers City of Casa Grande 510 E. Florence Blvd. Casa Grande, Arizona 85122 The City of Casa Grande will hold a regular meeting of the City Council at the above location, date and time. A public hearing is scheduled on the agenda for the purpose of presenting information, and to obtain any comments on proposed increases to wastewater and sanitation rates. The wastewater and sanitation operations are separate funds supported entirely by user fees. Rates must change to maintain a positive fund balance. The Council will consider a proposal on July 2nd to change the wastewater residential fee from $23.74 to $24.75 and to increase the wastewater commercial base from $11.65 to $12.00; the wastewater commercial usage rate from $2.00 per thousand gallons of water used to $2.05 per thousand gallons of water used and the wastewater industrial rate from $1.82 per thousand gallons of water used to $1.85 per thousand gallons of water used. THIS PROPOSED INCREASE IS EXCLUSIVE OF INCREASED PRIMARY PROPERTY TAXES RECEIVED FROM NEW CONSTRUCTION. Public Notice The City of Casa Grande will adopt its final property tax levy for Fiscal Year 2013 at a hearing on June 18, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 510 E. Florence Blvd. The proposed levy rate change is:
The change in value of your property determines the actual amount paid based on the rate. It the value decreases more than the rate increases, your total property tax amount will decrease.
