Who do I contact about a broken street light or one that is not working?

You can fill out a Public Works Service Request or contact the electrocity provider in your area. The electric company will ask you for the address the pole is in front of and the pole number, which is on the pole. The electric company will schedule their service staff to fix the light pole. Where do I go to pay or set-up an account?

To begin sanitation services with the City, you can fill out a Public Works Service Request online or City residents may call (520)421-8628. All payments are processed at City Hall Building B 510 E Florence Blvd. Casa Grande, AZ 85122

When is trash pick-up day?

Home trash container pick-ups run on a Monday/Thursday and Tuesday/Friday schedule. Please refer to the current sanitation schedule map to find out your days of pick-up. You may also contact the City of Casa Grande Public Works Department by phone at (520)421-8625.

What day is recycle pick-up day?

The recycle trucks run Monday through Friday. Please refer to the current recycling schedule map on therecycling page for the day of week that is scheduled in your area.

What can be recycled?

  • Newspaper - Inserts included.
  • Cardboard - Regular corrugated cardboard boxes, broken down flat with excessive tape removed.
  • Chipboard
  • Lightweight cardboard such as cracker and cereal boxes any non-coated light-weight cardboard.
  • Aluminum Cans - Rinsed out and flattened beer, soda, and juice cans.
  • Plastic - Clear and green soda bottles, only transparent milk and water gallon bottles (no colored bottles)
  • Magazines and Catalogs
  • White Paper and junk mail
  • Phone books
  • Batteries, Paint and Pesticides - Residents will need to bring it to the landfill so that it can be recycled - Residential Only

When is alley trash pick-up day?

The City runs an uncontained trash route to pick up large items. Uncontained trash is picked up approximately once every six weeks. Please refer to the current sanitation schedule map to find out the day you area will be serviced. If you have an alley, you are responsible for maintaining the alley up to the centerline free of litter and trash.

When can I have large items picked up?

If you have curbside service, the City runs an uncontained trash route to pick up large items on Fridays by Zone. Residents must call to schedule pick up 48 hours prior to collection date at (520)421-8625. Please refer to the current sanitation schedule map to find out the day you area will be serviced.

Is there a fee to set up trash and sewer?

There is no fee for residential customers. Commercial customers will need to call Public Works at 520-421-8625 for more information.

What size containers are available for trash?

The City provides one 95-gallon container per household. There is a fee for additional containers. Please contact the Public Works department for more information at (520) 421-8628.

Can I rent a roll-out or a dumpster container?

Yes, roll-out containers are available for a nominal fee. Please call Sanitation Services at (520) 421-8628 to reserve a container and obtain current fees.

Do I have to separate trash?

It is preferred that trash be bagged before placing in the container. Any hazardous materials must be separated and special pick-up arranged or delivery to the landfill be arranged. Small limbs and yard waste should be cut to fit the containers.

What are the fees for the landfill?

Who can use the landfill?

City residents may use the landfill at no cost with proof of residency (utility bill in customer's name, driver's license with current city address are acceptable proofs of residency).

Does the city take tires? If not, who does?

How do I find out the Holiday pick-up schedule?
