Teen Center Drive-In Movie and Lock In
On Friday, June 11, the Teen Center will be hosting a Drive-in movie and Lock in. We will kick off the night starting at 8:00 pm with a showing of “Twilight” on the big screen out under the stars. Then stay for the Lock In at the Teen Center. There will be movies, games, and FREE food all night long. The event will end at 7:00 am the next morning.
Teen Center Father/Teen Night
Come celebrate Father’s Day at the Teen Center on Saturday, June 19. All fathers are welcome to participate with their teen. We will be having father/teen tournaments, prizes, games, music and FREE food. The event runs from 6 pm – 10 pm.
Teen Center Summer Activities
The Casa Grande Teen Center will be hosting a variety of summer activities throughout the months of June and July.
- Each Monday at the Teen Center is Movie Monday’s. We will be showing a double feature each week beginning June 7. There will be FREE popcorn served during the movies. The first movie begins at 3:30 pm.
- Come show your skills at the Teen Center on Tournament Tuesday’s. Each week we will be having a different tournament for prizes. Every tournament you participate in gives you a raffle ticket to be entered in an end of the summer drawing for an autographed Phoenix Suns item. Tournaments begin on June 1 at 4:00 pm.
- Come chill out at the Teen Center every Wednesday in June and July for Ice Cream Social Wednesday’s. FREE ice cream all day beginning on June 2.
- Come be a part of the Teen Center Book Club every Thursday in June. The book that will be discussed is the third installment of the Twilight series, “Eclipse.” Meetings begin at the Teen Center starting Thursday, June 3 at 4 pm. For those who attend every meeting in June, we will be going to see the movie on opening day Wednesday, June 30.
Teen Center Transportation
The Casa Grande Teen Center will be offering transportation to and from the Teen Center through the months of June and July on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday beginning on June 1. The van will depart from the Parks and Recreation office (404 E Florence Blvd) at 2:45 pm and arrive back at the Parks and Recreation office for pick up at 8:00 pm. The Casa Grande Teen Center has a variety of games and activities for teens to take part in. There is pool, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 2, computer lab and much more. To take part in the transportation program, a parent or guardian must fill out the application form and sign up at the Parks and Recreation office. The van is limited to 11 passengers so the first 11 to sign up will be able to attend.
